HOW I GOT WHERE I AM

It even surprises me, but my mother assures me I have been fascinated by shapes, textures, colors and creating things with my hands practically since birth. I grew up in South Africa where I was exposed to a cultural cauldron of influences which have given me an unusually informed ‘eye’ and approach to projects. Before studying for my degree I briefly considered becoming a biologist but just could not resist the call of my Creative Passion – eventually receiving my B.F.A from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston where I majored in Glass. Over the 20 years since then I have developed a variety of specialist techniques including Restoration of Original Hand Plastered walls in Period rooms. I can also be commissioned for a range of Decorative Painting projects from floors with bold geometric tile patterns to murals inspired by18th century hand-painted walls.

WHAT I LOVE TO DO

To collaborate with designers and connect with clients and add layers of creativity to homes or restore the best of the past.

WHERE TO SEE IT

My work can be seen on walls and floors in Boston, Brookline and Lincoln MA, Providence RI, Killington and my home town Brandon VT.
